Where Can I get Bread cos its Snowing so I Need Some? Only In Ireland
Ireland is known to be green, where the people are friendly and leprechauns live under the rainbow hiding that pot of gold.
Living in Ireland we are blessed with long mild Springs and Autumns. We don't really have a Winter or Summer for that matter. Temperatures never really go that low, or get up that high.
In what you would call summer, we strip when its 20 Degrees, roasted by the heat in the sun. While in Winter we wrap up warm for the wind and the rain and as the temperatures drop to 5 Degrees
The last few days we have been bracing ourselves for some real winter weather. Where the temperatures drop to a real feel of -14 degrees. People have been stocking up on food and water as we await this beast from the east.
Before the snows starts shops begin to run out of bread and cant keep food on the shelves

Somehow we managed to get two loaves of Brennans before the worst of it, even after failing to stock up early. The shelves were pretty bare on Tuesday but restocked quickly. No idea how they are now, not going anywhere today :-P

Don't worry, the bread situation is fine. The Irish like to dramatize things in a humorous way, pretend they are worse than they are in order to mock the newspaper media.

@eurogee Ireland comes to a standstill. This weather is not normal. Its even worse now. Another foot of snow has fallen.

Sounds crazy over there in Dublin, pretty bad in the west too but not that bad. I'm not eating bread for a few weeks anyway so I find all this doubly funny!

Here there are almost no products in the markets either, even though it is for other reasons. Beautiful photos, I've never seen the snow, let alone touch it, where I live there is only sun and beautiful beach. Greetings from this side of the globe.
