Nakba (Catastrophe)! Say What? War With Iran!
I'm predicting the month of May could see the US becoming militarily-engaged in war against Iran, with Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen as war theaters.
Why in May?
Well, every war has its tinderbox for presumed justification, whether real or fake. The month of May is replete with strong war ingredients. Study history to see how recent wars have begun -- any honorable starts? So how would this next one happen?
Danger ... Danger ... Danger!!!
Donald Trump plans to open the US embassy in Jerusalem at the same time as the 70th anniversary of the Nakba, when 700,000 Palestinians were expelled in order to create Israel. It would be an understatement to call this intense!
Understandably, this will not sit well with Palestine or its supporters.
Gaza likely will explode with anger during the period of time building up to this date, it’ll certainly be heavy on culmination. Inevitably, this will spark over reaction from Israel. It's possible, given the huge historic timing, surrounding Middle Eastern nations will somehow engage to support Palestinians.
The table is perfectly set for the US (its Coalition of The Killing), Israel and Saudi Arabia to create a false flag event involving Iran related to the Palestinians: An excuse to hop-skip over the Russians in Syria in order to take military action against Iran.
Trump, with John Bolton in one ear, Eric Prince in his other, together with Mike Pompeo and Gina Haspel are a perfect Marvel Villain Team-Up to perpetuate such an action. What's worse is Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will back them even if it means making Trump a “war president.”
Why war with Iran?
Reasons are numerous: One is the longstanding antagonism of Israel and Iran. Another is the time-worn conflict between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shia Iran. A third reason is the US has never forgiven Iran for overthrowing its imposed dictator the Shah, and the US always remains committed to helping Israel and Saudi Arabia.
But I think the fourth reason is the nitty-gritty. The US is on a path to lose its economic and military influence in the region. The US never won in Iraq, never won in Libya and effectively is being taken to the cleaners in Syria. It also can no longer rely on Turkey as an ally. Its bid to prevent a Cross-Shia Crescent of Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Iran is set to fail. Some would argue it already has failed.
There is a powerful geopolitical economic development force now in play and one in which America’s military can not compete. America has always used its military to reap its foreign economic development. Traditionally, because of the military, US corporations have had free reign to rape the oil, diamonds, gold, silver, copper, tin, timber and rubber resources (using exploited labor) which its banking system of billionaires, with their bought-off politicians, have enjoyed.
China’s One Belt, One Road Project -- Belt Road Initiative (BRI) -- is changing everything. Coupled to this, China has created a new currency to compete with the US petrodollar. As Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi each discovered, this is a no-no. Importantly, Russia has aligned with China in the BRI.
The BRI is a trillion-dollar project meant to reopen the ancient Silk Road land and sea trading routes, using green infrastructure. It will originate from China and is intended to go across Russia on down through Turkey into and throughout the Cross Shia Crescent nations on into The Stan and Lower Asian regions. Sea ports and ocean ports will benefit. I think this is why Turkey is now more aligned with Russia than with NATO. These economic forces will become so powerful and alluring it’s likely India and Europe will eventually join.
War Games?
The US sees and knows this but can do nothing about it. As a chess player, the US clearly is looking at a lost position. Thus, the US might think it’s in its best interests to transition from playing chess to throwing dice ... war dice! As Turkey is the gateway to the Middle East, Iran is the gateway to The Stan and Lower Asian regions. Since Turkey won’t fall, maybe Iran will ... plus there’s all that hatred!
Yup! It’s very possible the war dice will get rolled, this in a hope a complexity of war will change the dynamics of the Middle East future, effectively blocking the BRI and essentially keeping the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia as the true powers within the region, this with a hope Turkey will come back into the fold.
My bet? Russia, being the very good chess players they are, will not take kindly seeing the US rolling war dice. Ultimately, such a scenario could also draw in the Masters of Go, China! As a note, China already stands ready to help rebuild Syria once the war is over and might not appreciate at all the US stubbing its economic toes.
Cribbage anyone? It’s a true shame adults can’t play in the kind of games where children are taught to share.
