Iran Freedom Tower

Azadi Tower is the first symbol of Tehran, which was built many years before Milad Tower and is still considered by many to be the main symbol of the Iranian capital. This beautiful building, which is considered one of the masterpieces of contemporary Iranian architecture, was built between 1348 and 1350 by Hossein Amanat to commemorate the 2500th anniversary of the empire. Freedom Tower is a combination of Achaemenid, Sassanid and Islamic architecture; So that the oval arch of the tower is a symbol of Kasra arch and turquoise tiles from the Safavid period and the top grooves of the tower are adapted from Yazd windbreaks, which along with the symbols of modern architecture and concrete structure, have given the tower a double charm.
