Little things mean a lot
A play between a family of three.
Wife: Welcome sweetheart, how was work today? Did you have the meal packaged for you?
Husband: Good evening. Work was not bad and about the meal, you added to much spices to the vegetable. I couldn’t eat. I went fasting throughout.
Wife: Oh dear, I’m sorry about that. I was a bit in a rush this morning to get it done before you leave for office, tomorrow’s promises to be better.
Husband: You know how much I dislike eating outside. And about tomorrow, I won’t be having any meal from home. I’d like to take a fast food coupled with a little snack.
*Wife is sorely bitter
Wife: Sweetheart, I said I’m sorry.
*Husband heads to the bedroom without a reply. In bed
Wife: Can I at least get a goodnight kiss before you go to bed.
*Husband goes numb. Next morning
Wife: Good morning dear, I know you were so angry yesterday. I am sorry and I love you.
Husband: I am okay and it is no problem.
*He dashed out without having his breakfast.
*Daughter came to his mother hungry
Daughter: Mom, how are you this morning? I enjoyed yesterday’s breakfast. Can I have something of that nature this morning?
Wife: Wow! Really? (A tear dropped as she answered)
Daughter: Mom, are you fine?
Wife: Yes dear. You coming with this comment at this time is great, you just made my day.
Daughter: Ohh mommy. I love you!
Wife: I love you too.
