IOTA may have some vulnerabilities but Ethereum does as well. Even Vitalik describes Ethereum as highly experimental. It's early days for all these technologies. But scam... No

It wouldn't be fair to put Ethereum and IOTA in the same basket though. What IOTA devs said is on the lines of that bug not being a bug but intentionally put in as a security measure.
