Quite interesting. Although it is not the first quantum-resistant, the concept of tangle is quite interesting, and I think it is quite important to complement other blockchain cryptocurrencies.
It does not ensure the same security of blockchain, but that does not mean it will not be safe enough for a lot of applications.
Yeah but I also think it's quite secure, can you imagine to attack multiple devices at the same time during a specific transaction? Seems like you could spam transactions but the developers are aware of this and introduced the concept of "checkpoints" in the whitepaper

STOP@onejoe Question: How does IOTA make money? Why would anybody invest in an open source protocol that has zero transaction fees? I don't understand how anybody expects their investment to gain in value if they're not selling anything!
