IOTA Price Prediction 2018
Inspired from the roadmaps of it's programmers and the hindrances for new technological improvements in the world of cryptocurrencies (it is still trading on only one platform because of implementation problems using different technology in contrast to Ethereum ), my dyed-in-the-wool estimates put it at about $2 to $5 by 2018. A market cap beyond $4billions is not too preposterous considering the speed at which the technology involved is currently evolving.
However, any sort of substantial increase would depend on actual case implementations which at this stage, is still far away from being adopted by the masses. Taking into consideration the fact that companies like Innogy and Bosch will only roll out the technology after testing it widely , we're not likely to witness any significant growth in IOTA before the maturity of this technology around 2019. IOTA as a concept was first brought into existence in 2015, a couple of years for the protocol to be perfected, likely a minimum of 2 decades or even more years to have it free from difficulties.
Max price seems to be $50 for now. The equivalent BTC price is $5,000. So Iota ain’t really cheap no more. But it has the best shot as alternative non-blockchain no-fees cryptocurrency.
IOTA is fee-less and scale-able. IOTA uses the tangle - this is significantly different from block chain ledger. I am betting that IOTA's tangle data structure replaces block chain eventually. IOTA is blockchain's replacement in my opinion.
