how to generate a Iota seed with Mac OS
The internet is full of human-beings blaming the Iota-Foundation for the fact that a bunch of people used online-seed-generators and as a result of this lost all their iotatokens.
To provide this in the future I will explain to you how you can generate your own seed on Mac OS.
- Open the terminal
- copy and run "" cat /dev/urandom |LC_ALL=C tr -dc 'A-Z9' | fold -w 81 | head -n 1 ""
if you want to feel even saver you can change single fractions of the generated seed by hand and then use it.
