Chapter 3. Phuket, My Solo Time

As my wife was occupied with work, this trip was a solo journey for me. Except for work-related trips, I had never traveled abroad alone, so it was an unfamiliar experience. Since it was a hot country, I packed plenty of underwear and short-sleeved shirts. Of course, I also brought my laptop and tablet along.

It wasn't a work trip, and I wasn't traveling with family, so there was no set itinerary. With plenty of time on my hands after arriving at the airport, I found myself simply sitting on a bench near the boarding gate.

I sat there, observing the bustling airport, contemplating what I should do next.
