Character VS Talent

Talent can be likened to marketing strategies people use in order to attract customers to their products. Character is the valuable product you want to sell. Without these valuable products, you can never succeed, even if you're a marketing guru. Why? Your product will judge, not your skills. Having the right marketing strategies without expected valuable products is a failure.
Today, a lot of people are talented. They have the talent to convince people but unfortunately lack the right characters.
CHARACTER OVER TALENT?
Does it mean that talent is useless? No!
We only have to know that talent without character will kill us one day.
Your talent will bring people to you (just like the marketing strategy) but your character will determine if you will win their heart forever (just like valuable products). Talent shouts 'look at me', character shouts 'stay with me'. Talent impress crowds, character makes crowd stay with you.
Character is the most important tool on earth. More important than words. When you have character, you don't have to speak. Character is the greatest asset you can have. Your talent is a plus.
Character makes you rich and not your talent because in your character lies your values. And in your value lies your success. Your talent attracts the world to you but your character will decide if they will truly stay with you.
Often times, we forget the power of character and focus more on talents, gifts, abilities etc. After you discovered what you can do, what you can do will be fueled by your character. Who you are determines where you'll go. It determines what impact you'll make. And what impact you'll make depends on what characters you possess.
Talent without discipline would definitely fail you in the long run. Talent without self-control, affection, courage, integrity etc will ultimately and untimely lead you to death. Death, not only by going to the grave. It can also mean " a living dead and dead living."
Character speaks about your past, present and most importantly the future. The good news is that you can build strong characters day by day if you choose to. It doesn't matter your past, you can build your future with your present.
Don't wait for strategies, life itself is character building. Your day to day activities build you consciously or unconsciously. When you start to understand your core values, discipline and virtues, you'll start to pay attention to the real you.
