Can we do better?
Ok, so those are level one businesses that are dancing around the concept of buying likes on the regular social media channels. When do you think, steemians are going to come up with the ground-breaking content-based businesses? Will SMT be the solution? I want to use steem to crowdfund my documentary about the booming crypto community in Puertopia, for example.
When do you think we're going to come up with advanced business models on Steemit? 🤔

Business in steemit is not limited to what I say in this article, there will always be new ideas that are getting more advanced and growing, I think your idea is very good, it could be after SMT officially launched your idea will be a new model in business.

Lots of people is making a question. Some people is even angry because Steemit sadly might turn into a business and some people love it as a blogging platform, base on the comment "came for the money stay for the content"
I think that traditional investors and business people need to be convinced of the power and potential of the blockchain. Here in the UK, it's still regarded with a great deal of suspicion, mainly thanks to the mainstream media, and of course, the UK is one of the worlds major business and financial centres.
Part of what we are doing at the moment is taking this message to investors directly...bypassing the bullshit, and letting them see what is going on. This is why for me it's so important to build the promo-steem model so powerfully, because it we can make it work, then everyone can see what the blockchain can do in terms of raising living standards AND making a profit for investors.
We need to change the way the people with money think, get them out of the old paradigm of doing business in a centralised way. It's quite hard for them to think about anything other than ownership, and that's not the decentralised way of doing things. But what we are seeing growing up around the blockchain (and especially the STEEM blockchain) is a different way of thinking and making things happen. It's really exciting!
