[dtube] My First Non-Crypto Investment of 2018
Since I talk so often about cryptocurrencies, I thought it would make a nice change to discuss my first non-crypto investment of the year.
Where else will you be investing your money in 2018? Or are you all-in cryptocurrencies?

@louisthomas definitelly gold & silver mate! Specially silver! The worse it goes for the stock market, bonds and fiat, the better for precious metals... Watch some Robert Kiyosaki, Peter Schiff or Mike Maloney's videos... There will be a big global economic swift soon ... Some say the biggest transfer of wealth of history... And gold has been a store of value for more than 4000 years...definitely a smart investment in my view
Silver is going to be crucial for the new cheap electricity devices that are going to hit the markets soon according to Clif High. Despite that Silver is severely undervalued. When the next bull run hit's in crypto I will be taking some profits and putting it into PHYSICAL silver.
Been buying silver a couple of years now and with china alone is using more than a metric tonne A DAY in their solar panels.
And what people don't really understand is that is actually less silver above ground than gold, and governments have not stockpiled it as they have with gold.
And as it much more widely used it will become a shortage of it, it's the most conductive metal, has best heatdispersion, is antbacterial and the most reflective just to mension some properties.
Gold is just pretty and doesn't oxidize.
So keep buying that silver.
Yes, diversification is very important in investment you have to take this into consideration we should not put all our eggs in one basket, though cryptocurrencies is also a reliable investment we should also think out of box. Like Estate properties, oil and gas, etc.
Interesting video, as always. I think that it's always a good idea to have several sources of income. Maybe in other areas, you can't earn as much money quickly as in the cryptocurrencies, but there is less volatility and therefore less risk.
For sure. It's nice to have money invested in other things that aren't quite as volatile
What happened to the passive income you wanted to make on crypto, @louisthomas? I also believe that's the future and what will bring crypto to the mainstream, proof of brain or proof of time instead of the other stuff that is out there.
Volatility is great, you have to ride the waves ;)
Comforting... but not nearly as fun... or heartbreaking.
Hey mr louisthomas thanks for giving some good info por those as me who are new on this platform. I am so impressed with all this Crazy world of cryptocurrency.. But its getting better and better
Cheers.
Thanks you for post @louisthomas. I am following your everypost. Excellent
Thanks @louisthomas i hope to win on this world of crypto.. Lets see how it works .. by the way nice view that lake looks like a good place to go.
For me its real estate and consumer products.
I'm guessing the UK "ISA" is similar to what's called an IRA here in the states. Good call! You get great tax breaks with an IRA. Also, index funds are a great move. Index fund and ETFs are the easiest way to invest. You get instant diversification, and they have very steady long-term growth. The traditional markets aren't beastly as fun (or got wrenching) as crypto, but they've been a proven wealth builder for decades! That's good enough for me. 🤑
I've also been considering buying some silver recently... We'll see how that goes.
Thanks, @louisthomas !
Investment is the best approach to achieving financial success. To me crypto is virtually the best platform. Though i have little knowledge on how cryptos market values re incorporated but with what i have seen and heard and with the great advantageous future it hold. I would definitely be a great place to hide some treasures.
Diversification? A good trader is aware of it!
