RE: Partners in Crime : Gold and Bitcoin Breaking Out Together

in #investing5 years ago

Hey, @buggedout.

Very interesting indeed, and something I was expecting would happen way before now (a rise not only in bitcoin, but gold as well), but somehow, things just manage to keep floating along (the stock market, the economy at large).

I guess it's a good thing the education system has been dumbing us down for generations now, so that we think free means things come from thin air or that whoever pays for it will be able to do it forever with no consequences.

I guess we'll see how much longer all of this can last.

We will find out soon enough. Honestly if it's just a recession with a bit of inflation and a few sporadic defaults then we'll be very lucky.

I don't know about everywhere else (my guess is, it's got to be similar), a recession in the middle of a presidential campaign is rarely good for the incumbent, so if it manages to come before November, 2020, we will probably see a Democrat president. If it waits, then Trump will more likely be he winner again.

Since they've digitized everything, they seem to have a little bit better control over things as far as keeping things afloat. I marvel at it, as much as I wish they would leave well enough alone.
