RE: Nesting for an alternate future

...but that is just New Zealand, this is where it begins. The countries that have a great deal to gain through early adoption are the smallest with weaker currencies and economies, as well as the poorer nations.

Many people may not realize this but in the world of IT, especially since (mobile) apps, New Zealand is one of the most important nations.

Because its demographics, and also cultural thinking, are so similar to the Western First World population, NZ has historically been an early roll out, and testing, country for even very large scale developers and platforms.

App beta testers probably know that all too well. Many have an app store account in New Zealand to test run early launches, weeks and sometimes even months before USA/CA/EU/UK release.

Yep, you are right on the money. I t has been used in this way for years as it has a lower barrier of entry yet is still representative. Cheaper than Oz too. I think that this move is going to work out well for them.
