An inspiring start of the week as a result of reading a few quotes on investing. I don't know what it is but quotes always bring me into a different state of mind. I feel energetic, driven and happy :-D

Robert Kiyosaki was the person who really got me thinking about passive income and taught me a few things about money. Inspiring mind!
The guy is an excellent marketer and amazing at simplifying big ideas into the core concepts. I was a bit disappointed with his books after Rich Dad Poor Dad. They pretty much recapped RDPD and introduced ~20-30% new information.
That being said, he is proven in his approaches, especially in Real Estate. He took some lumps when he tried to get into physical products, driving him to bankruptcy, but being able to bounce back makes him that much more credible.
The ones I have heard that resonate with me include:
Often, the best trade you made in a day is the one you didn't make.
Don't worry about the trade that went wrong. Focus on the next one.
Never fall in love with a specific coin/stock.
Get good at taking profit and not dwelling too much on money left on the table after profit is taken.

This one stands out as relevant to the current crypto sphere. Perhaps not in terms of a decade, but there is a tendency for people to yearn for instant returns, and if it doesn't happen right away, they're selling in a panic.
If we are allowed to count crypto years as dog years, than it becomes something that sounds quite good actually:
"If you aren't thinking about owning a crypto for 18 months, don't even think about owning it for 1.5 minutes."
