75% self up vote, last 50 Days

I started following netuoso because he was in the top 20. Honestly, I instantly tuned him out on my feed because 90% of his posts are automated posts with information I can read on my portfolio app that holds all my crypto balance information.

They also have an obscene amount of tags, one of the tags even states it is automated. Not a crime.

So if you originally look at Netuoso's page, it looks like his automated posts do not make a lot. Yet, when they get old enough, around 5-6 days, he up votes himself. Still not a crime to up vote yourself though.

But that leaves the question, who is @msp3k?

@msp3k, was created by @netuoso.

go to msp3k's site, no posts.... hmm, how is he up voting?

list of upvotes.PNG

A total of 28 comments in the last 14 days have been up voted in a manner that are always 6 days old. Currently, there are no active comments with up votes. Best I could find was 8 I believe.

Witness Responsibilities

As a Witness, your responsibility should be to support the STEEM platform in all ways. This includes both technical and organizational support.

@Netuoso,

Please tell me how 75% self vote is beneficial to the growth of the STEEM platform?

Tell me how 1.6% of your Voting Powering in the last 14 days going to H is beneficial to the growth of the platform?

To me, it seems you are being greedy and not helpful to the platform.

Shame on you.

Edit 1:

Due to some interest by a third party @haejin, and some thoughts on how to benefit the post. It has come to my intention that there are other pieces to the story.

@netuoso has worked a lot with MSP, Minnow Support Project

He is actually referred to as their coder and does a lot of work for them. While I do not know the nature of that work, I am sure it is extremely important. Perhaps he is the one that made the https://minnowsupportproject.org/ website? Honestly, not sure! But good things.

@Netuoso definitely has some good aspects to him

He does seem to work pretty hard for Steemit. But unfortunately, I feel that the amount of self voting is destructive to the platform. If everybody self-votes themselves, the platform will fail to grow hurting its ability to grow. I personally believe in Steem and think that it is important to share up votes with others.

We need to grow the user base, to grow the worth of STEEM. If the rewards aren't being spread, the turnover rate for new comers will increase.

YOU could be the difference between one person staying. That one person can be the difference for 3 more, and those 3 for 8 more.

A $10 up vote on a single post can be the difference between a user sticking with STEEM, and giving it up. The difference between getting their friend to join, and having them think it is a pyramid scheme. (Have been told this before)

As we know, more demand with static supply means rising prices. Good for all, especially the whales that have invested so much into the block chain.

So please, as a witness, remember to lead by example. Don't set a precedent that it is okay to up vote yourself 75%.

At a later date, I would like to take a deeper dive at this subject.

Sort:

I guess even on the blockchain the establishment shoots the whistleblower.

I voted my 2,700 MV for @netuoso after reviewing ALL his contributions to Steemit. Your post is thus biased and unbalanced as you have not a single item on his positive contributions; likely because you are unaware or have failed to investigate. At face value, your post protrays greed and that is NOT what @netuoso represents! Downvoted as this post does not represent the whole and only selective parts.

Should this be revised with a balanced writeup of facts, I will consider removing the downvote.

Hello @haejin,

Did a little editing.

Made sure to keep the old post and edit at the end for the sake of keeping the record open to everyone.

Thanks for the important point. All sides of a story should definitely be made clear in any sort of investigation or explanation of the truth. This post is still lacking further in depth investigation that should be considered.
