The investigation committee of the health ministry of Chuadanga
Desk: The investigation committee of the Health Ministry has visited the spot on Thursday for the loss of 20 eyes in Chuadanga cataract operation.
They reached Chuadanga at around 3pm. The 5-member committee will visit the Impact Masudul Haq Hospital and talk to the patients.
District Civil Surgeon said the committee headed by additional secretary Mizanur Rahman of the ministry is present at the National Eye Science Institute Prof Saifullah, Assistant Professor of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Professor Sajjad Bin Shahid, Deputy Director of Drug Administration Nurul Islam. Director of Health Director Shariful Haq Siddiqui will act as the member secretary of the inquiry committee. On March 5, 24 patients in Chuadanga Impact Masudul Haque Hospital were cataract operation. When 20 of them have eye-catching eyes, they have to take a single eye in Dhaka.
