Free invention idea #2steemCreated with Sketch.

This is related to Steem and I almost can do it myself, but only in Tasker and it needs to be a web based Steem Power type app.

Many of us want to read good articles, vote them up and follow the creators. But sometimes you miss people who consistently post moderately good things.

So, someone who has already made similar web pages, make one that simply counts up the number of times I vote up each person. So that if I vote up Bob's post three days ago, and vote for another post from him again to day, it shows [Bob | 2]. Then simply list them in order from high to low with a button to click to follow them. Following them puts them in the second column in reverse order so you can unfollow the low scores if you want. Soon you will be following great posters and creators and then you can start thinning out inactive members.

PS: Link me when you make this

Sort:

This sorting order has problems.

There are people that post at least once a day. And they are entertaining and good.
Then there are those who post once a week and are outstanding.
So, by your sort order described, you end up with
fast[7]
slowNgood[1]

The one you really want to see is at the bottom of the list.
More effort needs to be placed in designing a sorting algorithm.

Agreed, and my first thought is that votes/posts fixes that pretty well. As soon as you pass over one of "fast" then the score is fast[6/7], slow[1] and fast can never catch up. A great solution would do much better, probably . And, as soon as you follow "fast" he goes on the other list and "slow" is back on top anyway.

At least it beats what I am doing now, writing people's names down on a scrap of paper.

LOL! The old "scrap of paper" management trick!
