The Late Presentation of E.S.Esquivel / First month in STEEMIT!
Hello friends of Steemit, today I greet you with an inexpressible vigor, because I speak to you with enthusiasm and desire to open myself to your minds. First of all, I will introduce myself and talk a little about myself.
My name is Erick Samuel Esquivel Garcia, and I do not want a profession, I want to live my life, fulfill my goals and make my dreams come true.
I am a boy of 18 who currently resides in Caracas, Venezuela. I graduated from Baccalaureate in the U.E.P. Ave Maria School a few months ago. I had always been thinking about studying medicine at the UCV or Central University of Venezuela. But although I always kept very high marks to meet that goal, I discovered that it really was not what I wanted to do with my life. And that's why I decided that I would do what I love, and what seemed to be mere hobbies or hobbies began to become indispensable activities in me day to day, and I speak of course of drawing and writing. I consider that this decision is one of the most important that I could have considered, since it has been the beginning of a series of goals and dreams that I have set out to fulfill.
I started drawing from a very young age, when I was just a kid who loved watching cartoons and animes. I remember starting drawing Naruto characters (which became my favorite anime). And so I was erecting the idea of creating my own manga. I was always a very lonely guy who was entertaining imagining stories.
At first I did not know anything about the American comics, I was more fond of manga, but thanks to the films that started to take place for years, I became interested in the original plots, in the classic comics. Now I share a deep love for both types of comics, and currently I work in my own style, a combination between comics and manga. Now I will show you some of my drawings, some are from weeks ago and others from many months ago:
And my other great love, writing. Well, it started two years ago. I was always a boy who loved to read, whether literary classics or books that were fashionable, however, I never believed that I would have what it took to write a book, I even thought I would not get to half of one. It all started when, in my 4th year of high school, talking to a friend, I started to develop the idea for a book, a story that even if it was about people with superpowers, I wanted to give it a fresh twist, not using the basic stereotype of the invincible hero with losses but that always gets replaced, instead I wanted to do something more tragic, something much more human. And so my first novel was born: Beyond 1: Born, which worked with a lot of enthusiasm and love for months, and the more I wrote my narrative style matured at the same time that ideas for other stories accumulated.
Among other stories that began after finishing Beyond 1 (and while planning its sequel) are Crimson Vision, a novel in which although Beyond takes my soul, Crimson Vision takes my heart, it is a story in which I express feelings too deep and that in a conversation I would be very difficult to explain, but that is something that loves writing; the ease he gave me to express my feelings and emotions, each paragraph being a release from reality.
I have many more stories planned and I can not wait to finish them to start many more.
Among my dreams are to publish my novels and become a recognized artist, create comics and comics, and most importantly: never stop dreaming.
Now that you know a little about me, I would like to tell you about my first month at Steemit.
There really is not much to tell or at least I would like to summarize a lot, because every day is a new infinity of learning and expansion in Steemit. It all started thanks to a friend named Jim (@jimhutch), without him I would have never known this incredible platform and who now continues to help me with many useful tips.
Since I started at Steemit I was fascinated by the amount of good content I could find, both entertainment and educational, I love finding more cartoonists like me, or writers, or poets from a concrete jungle, it's just fantastic. And although I have not gained almost anything with my post of neophyte, this does not discourage me, but it impels me to continue believing and improving. This platform is a great discovery tool. And I hope to continue sharing content with you and in the same way to delight with yours.
I say goodbye for this occasion, I send you a big hug.
