This is Me and This is What I Do...All of Me...
Hello fellow travelers, one month has passed since I joined Steemit and I've done more reading than on any platform I joined and believe me, that's what I really like. Getting to know more about Steemit took me away from FB and IG, and now after a month, I am glad it worked out that way. With a help of my friends and a bit of me researching now I know basics of using Steemit.

My name is Luka. Half month ago ( 06.02. ) I celebrated my 30th birthday, but I count my age number by how I feel, so I can tell you for sure that I am 24 now :D :D. What can I say about me is that I'm passionately curious, I love nature, sports, art and truth maybe above all. I love to think and I love to feel, really love to share and always delighted to give! I'm trying to stay positive but I am raised to be real, respecting others and hope they will respect me. :)

WHERE DO I LIVE?
I am from Croatia and living in Split, region Dalmatia. Coastal Dalmatia is, at least for me, a bit special. It is sunny almost all year long, with a few rains and few cold Bura winds ( Bura is a wind that can catch speed of 20 m/s or 72 km/h, and sometimes over 50 m/s or 180 km/h). I love the mentality of people here, they are easy going or should I say 'leave me be' type of people.

Dalmatia is a region with a lots of islands, and my favorite one is island of Korčula. I even got my second home there ( https://www.villakorkyranigra.com/villa-korcula ). I love island of Korčula because of its beauty, crystal clear sea and amazing people, but now after I've built my home I can't wait to go there even more. See, every winter/spring/fall I live in a city of Split, but during the summer I go on the island. My family and I are a big carers for nature so we have 3 big wells for water and we use solar panels for electricity. That's just how we roll xD.

WHAT ABOUT SPORTS?
From age 6 up until age 24, I played football and only football ( soccer ). I played CB position and always stayed back protecting my goal. I am a supporter of Hajduk Split and Arsenal FC, but I really don't follow this sport anymore. The first reason is that a lot of money entered football and it took away that old school feeling, and the second reason is American Football.
5 years ago my friend introduced me to this beautiful sport and from day one I just fell in love. What I love most is that you NEED to play for your teammates and give ALL for them no matter what happens on the field. That feeling when you're on the field and you got your teammates behind you is something to die for. It even gives me goosebumps now when I write about it!

First 2 years I spent on Wide Receiver position, but now I'm playing Free Safety for Split SeaWolves ( http://splitseawolves.com/ ). I must say that last year we managed to defend our title in literally last second and became first club in Croatia to do so.
You think I'm done? Nah :D... The second sport I am practicing is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Although I am new in this sport, maybe 4-5 months, I already followed it few years before I started to practice it. What I love most about this sport is that it kills your Ego. See, I am a person who really 'hates' Ego, I think it is our worst enemy and we should know about it more and try to kill it at least a little each and every day.

This is my first individual sport so it's kinda challenging for me to grasp all this new perception and mental aspect of the sport. But, it's really motivating! Like I said, I love to think and Jiu-Jitsu is like playing chess against others.
These two sports are what I practice, but also during summer I love to scuba dive, and I've been trying rock climbing but only recreational...
WHAT ABOUT THAT ART?
Creativity is something I admire. It is a tool that gets you from 'simple' to 'complex' and vice versa. I try to be creative in every aspect of my life and this time it's time to share a little bit of me that I kept from you for years. It's nothing special but it makes my day! :D
In spare time I love to draw and it makes my time fly so fast that sometimes I forget to eat. Yes, it happened to me few times. It's like entering a different world of different dimensions, something I cannot describe. So here are my 2 drawings just for you. First one is a fun one I made about 8 years ago, and the second one is still in process.

MUSIC
Every day all day I listen to music, it's my inspiration and my education. The thing about me is that I listen to almost all genres of music. From Dire Straits, Faithless, 2pac to Bob Marley, Johnny Cash and many more... What I find quite interesting about music is that you can enjoy it two ways, you can use it for fun and to educate yourself. I somehow lean to that educational side more, but don't get me wrong I have fun Big time :D!
I will post link of my own song Zaza - People. It is a song I made just for fun a long time ago, hope you Party beasts will love it. It starts a bit rough but it gets interesting towards the end ;)
MY TRUE REAL PASSION
My real passion, above all, something that makes me wonder and something that gives me chills every time I think about it, is our Cosmos. A place full of unknowns waiting to be discovered. I love to listen to Neil deGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan and many more, and open my mind to new horizons... What I especially love to do is stargazing! I got my own telescope and from time to time I go to mountain Mosor near my city and just enjoy the Milky Way. It's a good amateur telescope so I managed to catch Orion Nebula, Jupiter and its four moons and even our galactic neighbor Andromeda galaxy. Here is a picture from last stargazing!

Nice to find out a little more about you, how do you find time for Steemit with all that too?
Half my lifetime ago, I visited Croatia and fell in love with Dalmatia. My particular favorite places were Dubrovnik and Mljet. Unfortunately, I visited Split on my own and attracted the wrong kind of attention, so may need to revisit one day, so get the full picture.
Oh Steemit is lately my main thing. I'm kinda down on time with drawings maybe, but I'm always trying something. I love to be free and let my creativity lead the way so it's easier that way...
Yes, Croatia is beautiful, and you need to visit Split again. It's a beautiful place, really unique!
