INTRODUCING WANDERDREAMZ

Hello Steemers!!!!!

Ufff! finally some space to put down my thoughts and let people know my silly experiences. Yes, I always wanted to write about the crazy little things of my life but never really thought I can do this because I felt I cannot write like other professionals do. But then one day, I read few articles written by Mostlysane blog and @heelsonwheels and felt oops, these are written in normal English and why don’t I give it a try.
All thanks to Krithi Uchil (@heelsonwheels) for introducing me to Steemit and motivating me to write something though I’m amateur at it. Oops sorry guys, I forgot to introduce myself.

“I’m so forgetful that I forgot to stick on to the title of this article, Excitement of getting into this Steemit world you see”

Yes, That’s me. A small-town girl who is born in a beautiful city called Mangalore, India and my parents named me as “Namitha”. As a kid I kept asking my parents what the meaning of my name is? but they never had an answer to it so then I decided to find a meaning on my own. The Semi-intelligent and creative brain of mine decided to break the name into two parts that is: Namitha= Na + Mitha, ‘Mitha’ means ‘Limit’ in kannada and ‘Na’ means ‘No’. Oh yes, its ‘No Limit’ which means Unlimited and that’s exactly how I’m. An unlimited package of happiness, chatterbox, Laughter, madness and may be talent.

“Though my parents did not know the meaning of my name they gave me the right name, All thanks to my Dad”

I always wanted to do something different from others so when all girls in my society joined singing or keyboard classes, I decided to join Tabala class because hardly girls learn tabala, when girls were learning dance for annual days I chose to do Yakshagana. Colours would always fascinate me and started learning painting and other creative arts on my own. I love doing DIY and creating new stuffs from old things or the trash. I love colour so much that I would always paint my nails with some random colours and at one point I started finding those plain nail colours also boring so started using my nail as a canvas to create art.

Yes, I’m a nail artist and No, I did not know there was something called as nail art when I started doing it. My lecturers though I was crazy because some day I painted my nails as post box and someday as a Facebook logo, I would do random designs on my nails and go to college. My mum was furious at me because I would end up spending all my pocket money on nail enamels. I started hiding my nail polishes from my parents so that they dint know how much money I have blown on them. Every night after 10:00 PM, once my parents go to bed I would get my Khazana out and make designs on my nails. Found Facebook as a great platform to showcase my love towards nail art and started uploading pictures.

Thank god my parents were not on Facebook else they would know how many enamels I have. But the truth wasn’t hidden. When my parents attended weddings, my relatives who were on Facebook started appreciating my work and that’s when my parents realised even nail art is an art.

Every year my canvas of painting changes, it shifted from canvas board to nail, glass, bottles, tile, wood, wall etc. All I wanted is to make everything colourful including my life. #happysoul

After working and wandering in Bangalore for two years my parents finally decided to get me married and send me far from them to a new place with a new man. They thought I’m old enough to get married but I prefer to be like a kid even now. So, I’m been parcelled from one beautiful city of Ocean(Mangalore) to another beautiful city of River(London). All that is common in these two places is my favourite sea food.

“I know I may sound silly, but I was literally shifted from a Cooker to a Freezer”

Coming back to the content of my writing, I’m going to write about my experiences, DIY, London dairies and and and I don’t know. All I know is I’m going to start writing and I’m excited about this. I always thought I cannot right until I started and that was so much fun. I could express myself and felt extremely good about it so Steemians here I’m to share my writings with you all and hope you guys like it and do support me 😉
