I usually buy my silver from Rio Grande. It is a big craft supply company. I have to pay a fabrication charge on top of whatever the spot price is, but since I don't have the big machine tools needed to do this I don't mind. I have been making jewelry for about 30 years. When I first started, the spot price was about $5 an ounce -- those were the days.
