Ok. I cuss a lot. Probably more than a sailor, and way more than my grandmother would ever survive filtering through her sensitive ears.

As I reflect on last year, 2017 was a monumental year for me. I turned 30. For those who have already been there done 30, I applaud you. 30 is kicking my ass y’all. Seriously. I always said I wanted to bear all my children before I turned 30. That’s basically the smartest decision I’ve ever made. I’m not sure I could have survived having kids after 30 given my current physical, emotional and mental state.

This is how I feel. All of the time. All of it. No matter how much sleep, coffee, food I can come up with. I have three kids. THREE. I can barely get through blinking, let alone a complete thought. Alongside being a mom and a devoted wife, I am also an occupational therapist. I work with children who have incredible abilities this world can’t quite seem to grasp their minds around, and instead chain them to the words “disabled” and “delayed.” It’s safe to say that my work life and my home life are “legit” busy.

Amidst feeling like a ping pong ball day in and day out, I love my life. Each day passes even quicker then the last, and I look at my husband and children and can’t comprehend how I can love them any more, and then I DO! We have so much to be thankful for with each chaotic moment that leaves these bags and circles under my eyes and drives me to a little bit of whiskey on the weekends.

I am a new member to the Steemit world. I admit it. I was late in the jump onto the Crypto bandwagon (remember that whole three kids thing?) but I have always been interested in diving into this world. So here I am! A place where I can participate in a community, post about my life and interests, AND nurture an incredible opportunity that IS the future.

So HELLO community! Happy New Year! May 2018 bring us all closer together, and a little bit (ok maybe a lot) of retirement in our pockets!!
