Welcome to my introductory post
This is me, Kees:
I was introduced to Steemit by @clio, who writes short blogs about France and about little historical facts. I like what she writes and I did a bit of reading on Steemit. I found many nice stories, so I hope this can be a nice place to write my own blogs.
Being 60 years old, father of two beautiful sons and being blessed with a lovely wife, I live in Rotterdam, the most modern city of the Netherlands. I work at the city's University Hospital as a helpdesk employee.
If I find enough inspiration I thought I could write about Rotterdam, a bit about its history and about the nice places to discover. I also am interested in the similarities between religions and how we can combine the best of every religion. So this can be a subject too to write about.
I'm not sure I understand the crypto-part of Steemit, about which a lot of blogs are written. It seems to be an important thing to this community, so I definitely will try to learn about it.
