You can win Steem Dollars by picking the winner!

Its easy:

Choose your winner from the contenders
In the comments section, write your selection and prediction for it's price
The Steemian who picks the winning coin and has the closest guess to its value is the Winner

Winners break down as follows:

Match #1 - Winner takes 70% of the post payout in Steem Dollars when I receive them.
Bonus Match - Winner takes 20% of the post payout in Steem Dollars when I receive them.

Match #1 ends 3 hours after this post is published

The  winner is announced at the end of the three hours.

Bonus Match ends on day 7 days after post is published at 5pm Pacific Time

 The winner will be announced at this time

Steem Dollar payouts will happen when I receive the post payout

Here are some examples of how to pick your winners:

             Lets say that  contenders are : Verge Vs Luman

                    Prices at the start of the match 

                    XVG =  .00001264
                    XLM =  .00003642

The match lasts for 3 Hours - so you will be predicting which one will have the most growth in three hours.

You also need to guess what the new price is going to be

                So your comment might look like this: 

                             XLM  .00003700 
                                      or
                             Lumen  .00003700

*Use either the name of the coin or the symbol

That means that you think Luman will achieve the largest gain over the next 3 hours and that it's price will be .00003700 (3700 Satoshi). If your prediction is the closest one, then you win 70% of post payout.

For the bonus match –

Make a prediction for price at the end of the week also, like this -

                        XLM .00005000 7Day

This means that you think that in 7 days , the price of Lumen will be 5,000 Satoshi and if you are the closest to that price then you win 20% of the post payout.

Its that simple!

Here is another Example:

Contenders are Ripple (XRP) Vs Ethereum(ETH) - Match starts at 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Price at begining of Match:

XRP - 0.00014118

ETH - 0.05618610

You predict that Ripple will experience more growth – so you write up :

     XRP - .00014200  
     XRP - .0001600 7Day

This means you think XRP will experience more growth and will be at 14,200 satoshi after 3 hours and that by the end of the week it will have continued to experience more growth and that it's new price will be 16,000 satoshi.

If you are closest on either one of those predictions or both, you will win the corresponding prize in Steem Dollars.
