The Obligatory Introductory Post

I was told that I need to write an introductory post, but I never know what to put in these things, so I'll keep it brief.

I'm Jim, and as my bio says I'm a writer, audiobook narrator and producer, voice actor, blogger, and podcaster. My writing is mainly in the areas of Science Fiction and Fantasy adventure stories, I'll narrate anything and everything, and my voice acting has been mostly independent work for my now-defunct YouTube channel. The blog you can find at www.jimfear138.blogspot.com, and the podcast is available at that site, as well as on iTunes. The podcast is mainly me ranting about various geek things like video games, books, movies, tv shows, anime, manga, etc, and I also delve into politics with some hot takes whenever the spirit moves me.

The reason I'm on Steemit is it seems like a wonderful medium to publish original short fiction on. I'm a firm adherent to the school of Robert E. Howard. Novels are overrated, short stories and novellas are where it's at. Keep the action rocking, and end on as big of a boom as possible. That's primarily what I'll be doing here, although I may occasionally cross-post with my normal blog, or put out a promotion when I or one of my friends releases a new book that I think people who enjoy my writing will also like.

I should also mention that I'm apart of a new, small publishing house called DimensionBucket Media. We have about six books on Amazon, mostly horror, but a bit of fantasy and some science fiction as well. It's a tiny operation, but we hope to expand our business in the coming year, partially thanks to this very site.
