Corrective Action: is the action taken to eliminate the causes of a detected nonconformity or other undesirable situation, and is different from "correction" by which only eliminates or repairs the detected nonconformity, not its cause.
Preventive action is an action taken to eliminate the cause of a potential nonconformity or other potentially undesirable situation. It differs from the corrective action in that in order to carry it out, it is not necessary that any nonconformity has been presented.
This action is taken to eliminate the cause of a potential nonconformity as well as another potentially undesirable situation.
Corrective action: is the action taken to eliminate the causes of an existing lack of conformity, defect found or other undesirable situation, to prevent its repetition.
Here are some recommendations:
It is of great importance to take into account before any cause that can be affected a conformity, the agents that surround it, since these are the main causes that generate a conformity.
For this, it is necessary the degree of potential of the nonconformity, and what this will tell us what action must be taken to achieve a feasible solution.
In turn, it is feasible that this nonconformity may be affecting one or more agents in action, which would facilitate the action to be employed for its elimination.
