Get to know me.
Hi, beautiful people! I'm Gwyn. I have curly hair, brown eyes and I love fries. I grew up in a small town in Mindanao of the Philippines! My hometown is in the Southern part of the Philippines and Northern part of Mindanao. I have three siblings, one who's two years older than me and one who's a year younger than me, and the youngest being fifteen years younger than me. We should've been six, but two of my siblings just didn't make it to their nine-month journey. I am a 10th Grade student of Iligan City East National High School, I will be 11th Grade in June. I haven't really had that much thought of college yet, but I was thinking of going for dentistry or business. I have this weird love for dogs because, I get scared whenever they open their mouths and do play bite, but they truly melt my heart. I have fear of spiders, frogs, lizards and car crashes. I love to spend most my time writing down my thoughts, working out, cooking, and spending time with my siblings through movie marathon and singing. I found out about steemit through my friend and I thought why not give it a try, since I usually keep my writings and thoughts to myself. Here's a picture of me from a month and eleven days ago.
Here are some pictures of my friends, they're some of the ones I have a special place in my heart. They never fail to put a smile on my face whenever I'm down. They help me solve problems I feel like I cannot bear.
And I forgot to mention the love I have for art. I love doing photography and painting. Just recently I have been learning to use watercolor. Here are some of my work.

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.
