Hi, its me, Gita:)

Hi everyone, my name is Gita Devie Basant, 41 years old, Yikes! But i love our generation..i was born and raised in Amsterdam, Holland. Yes, i feel privileged that this was my playground but also lucky to have gotten out alive! My name means Divine song of spring. That is a high standard to meet. At least i can say im a very warm person with the occasional stormy surprise! About the Divine...i was thaught in India that we are in fact eternally separated, always individual, parts and parcels of a Divine Personality. And as long as i keep honouring with love and affection the disciplic Guru line coming directly from Sri Krishna's incarnation, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, also lovingly called Gauranga, around 1500 A.D. everything is going to be ok here.

I just keep doing my level best for this and as a result my life is consistantly lined with beautiful, blissfull mini-miracles which keeps the simple life interesting. My first job when i was 13 was sorting mail for the dutch division for the Dalai Lama. Trying to find out further where my name came from, i am now a hypnotherapist because i want to help people not only spiritually but also practically. Luckily, they dont bite one another!

I hope that everyone connects with that innermost powerfull part of you that is connected to Source, however you call it. Im so happy that Pope Franciscus also acknowleged that Krishna is a bonified name of God, 5000 years old on this planet. But ofcourse there are so many more. According to the Veda's God at least put all of His strength in His Names. So dont be affraid and enjoy them. Let's say...in a mantra? Man = mind and tra= to control or train. Because it keeps us strong and resilient enough to be able to do what we want to do from our heartspace, passion and creativity. But i also know how hard it can be to keep it going so never ever forget where your real strength and centre comes from.
