Introducing Sylvanus Akiy, a builder from Bamenda, Cameroon

My name is sylvanus Akiy but all my friends and clients call me Zlatan. I am 22years old from a polygamous family with 6 siblings, elder brothers, two younger sisters and a kid bro. My dad has 02 wives and we are resident in Teken Quarter, Mile 4 Nkwen Bamenda.

I am a native of Weh in Wum Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. I stopped schooling at Form 4 at G.T.H.S Weh, due to the sociopolitical crisis in the North West Region that forced me and family to become displaced and resident in Bamenda.
As such i had to learn a trade in other to be able to support myself and my family. My passion for building construction which was being nurtured in my alma matter, motivated me to learn to become a Builder since 2012. lI did a 7 years apprenticeship program which and graduated to become a professional builder in 2019.

I love my job and i hope that someday i will become a very good and experienced professional who will own his own Construction Engineering Firm.
I like football and i play football every Monday with Teken Veteran. Sports betting also interests me. Besides football, i like to cook and some of my favorite dishes are rice and beans.
I have little knowledge about crypto currencies but thanks to the Cameroon Steemit Program Sensitization Campaign organized by @thegreens with @peacemakers and @mr-greens being present, i have been given the opportunity to learn as well as join the Steemit community.
I look forward to learning new cultures and reading post of arts and construction while sharing mine with the many Steemians around the world .
