My first day in steemit, a lovely and memorable day to pen down

Greetings to you dear steemit follows.

My name is Charis Zibah. I am 23 years old based in Enugu state Nigeria.

    I was introduced to this great platform by a friend  turned brother @drigweeu. After much light up about this forum,i thought for sometime that here would be a better place for me to show off what i love doing and as well learn more,then i got motivated to join this great family.

   First,i would love to share a short amazing story of my life.  I  graduated from secondary school in 2012 when i was 17 after sitting for my West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board examination. I was denied access to my first choice school and then sat back home hoping for the next year to approach in order to sit for another JAMB exam as it is here in Nigeria.The year finally came but things didnt turn out well and that was another year gone. I had to wait again for the upper year and that was when smile returned back to my face because all these years was a hell on earth. i gained admission into the university of Science and Technology to study Micro Biology. After a year i had to come or let me put it this way,i had to drop due to some family issues and other life issue that really weighed me down.

   After spending 3 long years at home hoping to go back to school to acquire more knowledge knowing fully well that time waits for no one. I decided to go into producing soaps,antiseptics a coconut oil which i now how to make. That same year 2017 i sat for another JAMB ans finally gained admission into the Institution of Management of Technology Enugu state to study Science Laboratory Technology.    All those years at home was sincerely hell on earth. You know that moment when you see your mates going higher and you are just there,that moment when you will have  to answer many questions at a time,it wasn't fair but all the same all thanks to God.

 In all those years,i learned so many things:patience,endurance,tolerance,confidence,trust,determination,perseverance and above all as it is said that a journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. In order to achieve any dream,you must work it out and o the rightful track.
