Hi all, we created a blockchain podcast using bots

Hello Steemians,

Today we are launching a new podcast “Your Qoin” that will give listeners a 5-minute news brief of the top block chain related stories. The podcasting medium is growing and crypto currencies are constantly in the news, so we decided to make it easier for people who would like to combine these two, into one activity. What makes this podcast different is that it is 90% automated, from content choice, to voice actors and distribution.

We started working on this project in September and we would love to get your feedback and comments on ways to improve the platform. Our program is scheduled to produce a new podcast every Monday and Thursday at 14:00 PM PST, you can subscribe to the podcast feed directly at Feedburner or visit our http://www.yqpod.com/.

Technical development

• Trending stories are algorithmically sorted using Jsoup for scraping, ROME for RSS Feed parsing
• The content summaries use the SMMRY API
• The TTS voice uses JavaScript and NodeJS framework to create & distribute the audio files.
• Final review of grammar, acronyms, readability is done by a human (hopefully not for long)
