Allow me to introduce myself. Is Africa really a shit hole?

My name is Kayoyemi Daniel and am happy to be here on Steemit. I am from Africa, as many do not know, Africa is a Continent just like the Americas and Asia and not just a single Country. We can then say that I am from Nigeria which is a country in the Sub Saharan part of Africa. Typically, Nigeria is a country of 0ver 190 Million and counting.

The western part of Nigeria is dominated by the Yoruba, a cultural and dynamic tribe that cannot be relegated to the background in all facet of life. Lagos, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Akure are some of the biggest cities in the south western part of Nigeria.

It might interest you know that Yoruba men have recently been Nicknamed “Yoruba Demon” because of their Exotic dress sense in the free flowing regalia called the “Agbada”. In many occasion, they steal the show, take home the best ladies aim for the cookie jar and bail out on them. I guess that’s how the name “Yoruba Demon” came to play.

We do not have tails, neither do we live on trees. Though, electricity isn’t stable and sometimes we have to run on Generator. There are social amenities like, water closet, portable water roads and internet access of course, without which it would be impossible to be on steemit.

We are a developing Nation, we still have a long way to go but we do not deserve to be called a shit hole. In America today, one of the country that supplies skilled immigrant is Nigeria and we are helping to build the United States at our own detriment.

      In Conclusion

No country in the world deserves to be called a shit hole. At the long run we are all human and we got the same blood flowing through our veins.
