HELLO STEEMIT!! I'M YOLANDA FROM INDONESIA.

    Hi Steemians!!
I’m so glad to write my first post on this platform! My name is Yolanda Stevanie. I am 19 years old. I was born in Tenggarong, East Kalimantan, Indonesia on 26 July 1998. I am the firstborn child of three siblings. I have two cute little brothers. My family and I decided to move to Sumatera Island when I was 3 years old and now we are live in Langkat, North Sumatera, Indonesia.  

I am currently studying at one of the state universities in Indonesia namely States University of Medan and take the concentration of biology which is now running until the fourth semester. I decided to study biology because I love studying it and have fun doing it. I love nature, I have an interest in medicine and simply feel lots of curiosity about living things. While on campus, I spend more time in the laboratory to doing incredible biological research or go to the forest for field research.  

 

But in my spare time, I often play music to get rid of boredom. I really like piano and guitar. I also interested in learning other musical instruments such as violin, saxophone and drums. When I was in junior high school, I often joined musical lessons and vocals outside the city. The blood of music flowed in my blood. All my family also have an interest in music. By playing music, I feel a new energy to start my activities. If you guys have the same interests as me in music, maybe we can share knowledge with each other.
 

I also really like traveling. I often travel out of town, traveling around Indonesia, exploring places that I have never visited before and tasting unique food from different regions in Indonesia. Traveling really opened my eyes to the beauty of diversity and taught me about so many things that I had never learned in school before! And I will share that to you through my post.

I joined Steemit through my good friend @suwaibahkhaira. She knows that I love writing too. She explained and taught me what steemit was and then made me interested to join.  
Well, I am excited to start this new chapter of my life and create more content to share with the world. For now, you can look forward to biology, music and travel blog posts. I am extremely excited to see how the Steemit community evolves, and I am looking forward to working with other, like-minded creatives.
