Introduction - Father of three, husband of 9 years

Hello everyone, joined steemit 8/4/2017 wasn't sure what exactly to say but figured since I've purchased steemit for the long haul I'd get to know the community. I'm a father of three two boys and a new born little girl this past Friday. My wife is the best :) she has been with me 11 years. I'm a mechanic by trade, but I enjoy being a handy man. I've remodeled my home in several ways in the last month before the baby was born so I could relax with her and help mommy. I replaced the floor, vanity and sink and some plumbing in the half bath due to some misfortune, a leaky sink. I replaced quite a bit of the roof, (shingles) because we were having issues with a leak. Gutted and replaced the base of a window since their was some water damage on the actual supports and so forth theirs been a lot of issues since we bought our home.

Although we are tight on funds, I found solace in the fact that we saved money on labor.
Has anyone had this type of life? where you could not afford to get help so you
had to do it all alone?
