What is Write4Chanage about?

Write4Chanage is a solution oriented charitable organization made up of people who are passionate about bringing positive change in the society. We empower the disadvantaged individuals in rural communities to develop as individuals by volunteering and partaking in social activities, while making positive contributions within the community. We believe in team work and respect for humanity regardless of race, gender and religious beliefs.

Aims &Objectives

Write4change seeks to brings positive change in our societies by involving the ordinary Ghannaian through motivation and education. This we want to achieve through the following ways;

To generate in young people a sense of responsibility and ownership for actions they undertake.
Actively get involved in brainstorming suggestions to finding solutions to problems facing communities.
To believe that everything which can be seen or can be imaginable is indeed attainable and possible.
To provide solutions in education for children and the youth in deprived communities through health forums and running summer schools.
To organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and other fun events for young people.

About the Founder who is a steemian

Harry Bekoe A.k.a Harry Beks is a young active dream chaser and visionary leader who thinks words coupled with action can be used as a tool for change and to make a difference in every sphere of life.

My mission is to live with integrity and to make a difference in the lives of others

A highly motivated and hardworking gentleman who is driven by passion to the service of others. I am able to demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills by working both independently and within a team. I have the excellent ability to organize and prioritize my workload in order to achieve set goals and deadlines efficiently.

Growing up, I’ve learnt to accept the situations life brought my way especially having to accept living and growing up in an orphanage home.

I’ve come this far in life because someone saw the need to save me from the destruction that was awaiting my destiny. This is what I also intend to do, inspiring others to believe that whatever they can conceive they can achieve. I am a product of many encounters and want to also create an opportunity where many people can also be part in making the dreams of others come through.

John Holmes once said; “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up”. I believe our societies and country as a whole will develop rapidly if we all understand the fact that not for ourselves alone we are born but to help lift others who are weak who will also raise others and the cycle continues.

I will encourage you reading to join hands with me as we passionately reach out to help others.

Projects

Apart from invasions, W4C also has it as a mandate to take up projects which are usually on long term basis and with the children, young adults and the youth as a major focus.

Why projects
We have come to realisation that our one or two days of interactive sessions with the stated group of people during invasions are not enough and hence the need to start projects in these very needful communities.

Our projects are dependent on the need of the community and the group of people involved or affected.

We appeal to all benevolent organization, government agencies, cooperate bodies and individuals to join hands with us as we reach out to equip communities to rise up to problem solving.

This is our current project that is ongoing, Project "T"

Write4Change and Global Youth Foundation Zimbabwe embarks on a partnership project to address teenage pregnancies.(http://www.write4change.online/projects/project-t/)

This is the first long term initiative to educate the young females of Live Community in Akatsi in Ghana and Chihota Community in Zimbabwe about teenage pregnancy, the causes, other precipitating factors, the effects this global canker is having on individuals, families, communities, national growth and stability and how this very problem is truncating the destined greatness of many young girls of this generation.
