Brand New and excited to be part of this awesome community.
Let us introduce ourselves. We are Alex and Cory and we are Wildly Intrepid. The outdoors and travel have defined our lives and shaped who we are. Both born in Canada, Quebec we met 7 years ago on the beautiful island of Newfoundland know as the "Rock". This was the beginning of our journey together.
Since then we have been pushing each others boundaries with various outdoor sports and world travel. From snowboarding through powder in the Rockies and Appalachians to get to that untouched powder line down a mountain to surfing glassy waves along the coast of Asia, Central America, Australia, as well as colder waters here in Canada. Free diving with sharks or spelunking deep down into the depths of the earth there is just to much too see and do.
For weekend trips simply grabbing our backpacks and a compass to wander though kilometers of unbelievably unique and wild landscapes with bears, caribou and moose as our only companions at times. We rock climbed alongside whales and icebergs and deep water soloed in crystal clear tropical waters. Stories of near misses with erupting volcanoes and wading through flooded rain forest. These are a few of the types of adventures we live for and would like to share with the Steemit world.
In a constant search for more adrenaline coupled with new places and interesting people. Traveling to new places is what we live for and it sort of feels like home. When we are saving for our next big adventure and become more stationary for a while we quickly feel the drive to get out and explore. The world is a massive backyard to play in and we can't wait to see more.
From this passionate lifestyle was born Wildly Intrepid in the hope to inspire others. Through stories, videos, and pictures we hope to share a small taste of our daily lives sometimes impossible to describe unless we bring you along for the ride.
This lifestyle is a series of choices which anyone can make if they choose. We are free to be and become who we aspire to be. No need to win a bunch of money or wait for retirement to live life and do everything we ever wanted. Decide to make those small choices towards your dreams.
In this crazy world sometimes we simply have to break away from it all, change our lifestyle to line up with our passions and be who we have always wanted to be.

Hey, welcome! You two will do well sharing your adventures here on Steemit. Where is the second photo from please? That's a lot of work to clear all those fields. There must be many generations of people living in that area. It is beautiful though and would be worth the work.
I'm a private investigator, so people watching is a passion of mine. One of the things I do is look through intro posts for new accounts that show promise. Yours does! There are a ton of other webpages to help you with Steemit. Here are some of the best for beginners:
https://steemd.com/ (This site is used to keep track of your voting power and other stats. You do not want to run out of voting power, and you only get so much per day. I keep my voting power around 80% for example.)
https://steem.makerwannabe.com/ (This site will tell you who follows you, who unfollows you, and who mutes you. It is great for meeting new people too. I regularly check it to see who has followed me to see if I should follow them back.)
https://steemit.chat/ (This site is the official chat webpage for Steemit. There are Discord channels too, but I usually stick to the official site. Come in to network and meet new friends. You can directly message people there too, so it makes it easier to communicate with your closest friends.)
Oh yeah, there are a lot of bots on here. If you see a cookie cutter reply, especially to your intro post, it is almost certainly a bot. Check the account's reputation. If it is low, I would recommend just ignoring them. Everything is public on Steemit, so you can go look at an account's comments and replies. Are they all the same? It's a bot.

The second picture is from the Batad rice fields in North Luzon, Philippines. They pick all the rice by hand and depending on the type of rice it can take almost a year to be ready to harvest.
I suspected the potential bots and will watch out for them in the future.

Here a few tips for starters snce you probably won't get any advice from those who comment under here, here's what I gathered thus far.
It's tough to make money at first so if that's your main cause to be on here grind that into your head straight away, that doesn't mean you shouldn't post content, you should, but enganging with others in the comment sections to grow your following is your best bet. Which categories?
Probably the introduce yourself one and the photography section but you can choose things that you have knowledge about too and then go from there just know that there is a lot of crap on here so plowing through that just to connect with others can be tough. Cheers.
Thank you very much for the useful advice. We are here to have another outlet to post our content we already love creating. I would love to make some money to help us do more and upgrade our content but it is not the main goal. We are happy to simply make a small impact in someones life or inspire them to try something they wouldn't have. Cheers
