20 Great Steemit authors you should follow.
Steemit is by far the best place to get information and news. You can literally find thousands of new articles every hour on an untold number of subjects written in many different languages by just as many authors with great skill and sometimes no skill at all.
There is so much here that it can be a bit confusing and sometimes mindboggling to sort out what to begin reading. We soon find that we need a way to organize what we read. To do that we can start by checking out the Tags on the right side of the page. Click on a topic that interests you and begin your sometimes hours long perusal of information overload.
Eventually you begin to find patterns in what you read. Usually it begins by noticing just who is posting the most often, but eventually you find that many of the prolific posters do not have quality content. This leads you to search for authors that not only post often but who take time to make good original content. These are the people we should choose to follow.
Now to the point of this post. I joined Steemit back in February 2017 and went through all of the steps above rather quickly. Since then I have found many authors that both write prolifically and provide good content. Below is a list of 20 of what I think are some the best authors on Steemit, and all of them should be followed.

I joined because I'm a writer, and finding good writing here--and being able to reward it over and over again--is a huge part of why I hope Steemit expands infinitely.
I'm looking forward to checking out your list (some are familiar, but not all!), and getting to know them as well. And I'm following, because the more good writing on my feed, the better.
