👋🏻Worldtrip 🌏with baby - Travel with Salima & Timo Introduceyourself 2👋🏻

We are Salima and Timo with our now 13 month young daughter Emilia. ( This is a repost in english, for all English readers)

Since November 2016 we are on the road, the Road around the world. Everything sold and terminated. Prior to the Trip, Timo had made himself as a landscape gardener and own Business. I have been working since my training as a physiotherapist until my pregnancy.

Our small sunshine Emilia was born on 06.05.2016, right in the middle of the season with the work of Timo. On the second day he had to be ready again. When he came back from work, the little one usually slept. That went on for 3 months.

We had alienated ourselves as a family. For what? So that the rent can be paid (Have moved shortly before in a larger apartment). So that we can pay all our bills? So that we outwardly meet the ideal image?

We decided that this would be a too high price for us. We would pay with our relationship and alienation for the „luxury“.

I saw it in Timo’s eyes that this did not make him happy. Especially since this was never his own desire to become a landscape gardener. It was just work to get the money for the livelihood, not more.

We honestly did not take long to start our trip. 4 months before departure, we decided to sell and cancel everything. It was not easy, because it was not everyone who was thrilled to travel around the world with a 6-month-old young child. On 28.11.2016 our world journey began, since then we are on the way.

Why had we choose this step?
We wanted to be free, free from constraints. Re-learn to listen to us and listen to our hearts. Intensify our relationship with each other. Both wanted to experience the first precious months of our daughter. We have been on the road for 9 months.

Have learned a lot about us. Timo has discovered his love for photography. He goes into it properly. He also loves to shoot and cut videos. For me it is more difficult to tell the truth I still have to find what I love. We have made many great friendships on the way. Enjoy the first steps of our daughter together.

Even if not every day is sunshine, and of course we carry our inner conflicts with us, we are glad to have started this journey. Join our journey around the world from now on at Steemit.
