My first introduction to steemit blockchain community
My name is tinuosho abolaji (@tinuosho ) a graduate of physics BSC, i am a science geek with cretivity and sports as hobbies.
I got to know about steemit through the awareness creation of @steemhelpinghand through @stevendion .i once misunderstood steemit as a ponzi scheme not until i signed up.
I waited for weeks for my account to be approved, I looked around the community and got used to the platforms and blogs.
I found out that not only was there this whole different area called Steemit but there were people actually from different background,races, and all walks of life acquiring knowledge ,communicating and voting. For each person that voted a particular amount was given depending on the voters power and each persons vote was worth a different amount. This intrigued me much so I started to study why this app or platform was different.
As I was looking around I also found that groups of people were focusing on different issues or niche. There are many different niches but one that really drew my attention was the @steemstem (a science, technology and engineering blog) which i would love to be a partaker and also share my knowledge ..what really motivated me was @steemhelpinghands ,how they used this blockchain community to impact lives and put smiles on the faces of the less priviledge and needy..
I was introduced and joined supporting groups:
@genesis-project
@airhawk-project
And also i followed @steemstem.
I believe i can make positive impact and touch lives through steemit blockchain community.
Hello, wow great your introduction, iam so like it, please follow @hasanelhusein
Ok.
Hey mate! Welcome to steemit! If you're going to be writing about physics (and I really think you should :) ) then make sure to check out SteemSTEM (#steemstem, @steemstem) it's a great place that people who post about science, technology, engineering and maths get a lot of support!
Ok.
I will. Thanks
Welcome to steem, I know you have been checking the platform out and probably have learned a lot but...
Here are some things that may help you on your path.
