Introduction! Hello Steemit - Happy to be here

Hey Everyone,

My name is Tim. (Some) friends call me timecop :). Feel free. I'm from Philadelphia but live in New Orleans, and though pretty new to cryptocurrency and blockchain tech, I've been reading about it incessantly. It's been such a great learning experience so far. Though I like (aspects of) being a social worker, my job serves as a stark reminder of boundaries and bureaucracy that blockchain has the power to just smash through.

Anyway, I'm hoping that Steemit will serve as a platform where I can connect with smart people, read their hot takes on everything, and post all the stuff I've been wanting to (songs, musings, etc.) I've played guitar for about 17 years - my friends and I have just started working on some cool stuff and I imagine I'll be able to share it soon! In the meantime, I'm gonna peruse steemit, see what others are posting, and join the overall community in the best way I can.

and though he is basically a complete stranger, I want to give a shoutout to @crypt0 (omar), because I watch/appreciate his daily videos regarding cryptocurrency news. Highly recommend! I suppose that'll serve as my bio for now -- feel free to reach out, for whatever reason!
