The basic game strategy is Mele in the front / Ranged in the back and magic can go anywhere. Mele (for the most part) can only attack from the first position and ranged can't attack from the first position, Magic can attack from any position. There are game modes that allow mele to attack from any position but the aforementioned is the jest of it.
