Keyword here is "AT LEAST' because I'm well aware of some minnows in steemit here are able to generate more payout than that every single day, let alone on a weekly basis. For those people, good on you. 5SBD may not seem like a big number for some but for a large portion of people on steemit especially the newcomers that are still struggling to get beyond the 1 decimal point earning in their posts, 5SBD is substantial.

To you people, I understand you, I've been there before but don't worry, I'm going to share with you a strategy that I've tried and has provided me with at least 5SBD per week. To me, 5SBD is a considerable amount of pay especially when converted into my country's currency (Malaysian ringgit) - depending on the price of SBD, It could get me anywhere between 2 large pizza + 1 medium and 1 personal pizza from Pizza hut, to 9 large pizza + 1 personal pizza. Of course, the value would be more colossal in countries with lower currency exchange rate.

The strategy I'm about to share here may just consume 30 mins to 1 hour of your time a day. The 3 key components here are:

1. The content
2. The support
3. The interaction

CONTENT
Come up with contents which steemit community loves to read and vote for. To do this, you can either try to appeal to what you rationally think is interesting or look at what's trending and what people love reading/sharing about. To further help you guide your targeted audience in order to maximise your earning, try to appeal to a specific audience which gives out greater rewards. Otherwise, the generic strategy is to write something majority of people can appreciate.

It goes without saying that there shall be no plagiarism, just quality and comprehensible content. Creativity will set you apart especially on how you word your title. How often should you post? Once a day is enough, spending too much time on making posts after posts can be counterproductive for your social life. Don't forget to use relevant and featured tags - using the right tags especially those on the sidebar of steemit homepage increases the likelihood of people discovering your content. Remember, the more people like your content, the more you can earn. In my experience, you'll know your content is interesting enough to a certain set of audience when it at least gives you 2SBD.

SUPPORT
After you are done with your post, the next part is finding support to help with the visibility of your post. Although there's no guaranteed amount you shall get when you share your post, visibility here allows people to discover you, think of like an ad because technically, it is a form of ad. My suggestions is to join support groups and their discord channels. 3 of the best and most reliable group I've come across so far are:

1. @minnowsupport
2. Cresent-steemians discord channel
3. Country-based support group which in my case is @teammalaysia discord channel

@minnowsupport votes 1 of your article every 24 hours which can pay you anywhere between 0.12-0.18 SBD. Now, realistically, the voting power needs 2-3 days to generate so at most, you can have only 4 articles voted a week as the account will sleep to regenerate its power.

Crescent steemians is a group I've recently discovered and is currently run by awesome people such as @dobartim @nomannomi and @wajahatsardar . One of the best thing about this group is that you get to share 2 posts a day provided there's a 6 hours gap between the promotion of the 2 posts. Furthermore, everyone is required to vote at least 2 people and must mention the name of the people they voted as verifiable evidence. If you play your cards right and your content are interesting, you can earn a steady 0.25 SBD day! @teammalaysia discord channel is my country's initiative backed by amazing people such as @bitrocker2020 @elizacheng @n4zriofficial and many more. Depending on the group, different group will have different rules on how the voting system and post promotion is run. Do explore your regional support group and see what they can do for you.

Now I know some of you are already a step ahead by joining voting service to get your post voted monumentally. That's good but since I'm not using any at the moment, I rely on my content and basic support group for help. There's absolutely no problem if you want to join other services and have more support group than me, I'm just here to guide with the basics.

INTERACTION
My general rule here is comment at least twice on other's posts and at least once to newbies.

Believe it or not, there was this 1 week when my earning from commenting on people's posts was 12 times more than what I earned from my write-ups. How? Look for established users' posts which syncrhonises with your own genuine interests and read them. When you comment your feedbacks, support and also additional information into their posts, they may acknowledge your effort and value your thoughts and give you a vote! Depending on whose article you're reading, the pay can be a lot.

Comment helpful tips and warm welcome to at least 1 newbie day. Why? Because you can gain a loyal follower from just the impression you gave them on their first day.
