HEY STEEMIT COMMUNITY, ITS MY FIRST POST.

In the light and darkness of everything writers see perfection, it doesn’t only happen every time but it’s a life time struggle. This is my favorite line of all times and I believe it’s not a coincidence that I stumbled on the steemit community that appreciates content creation and allows each and every individual to blow their loud minds. So being that am new here, I realized it’s a tradition to introduce oneself. Well I am not so good at this but let’s see how it goes.

My name is Dorothy Nakaggwa and I am from east Africa, Uganda in particular. I am passionate about so many things and many of these will be a core of the things that I will often write about. The biggest of them is food and nutrition well because I am a nutritionist, I am a firm believer in the statement of we are what we eat. Besides food, I also love skin and hair care particularly African hair so yes I am a natural hair enthusiast. I love travelling and discovering new places especially in Africa, poetry and reading novels and self-help books. I delight in God and for all I am and all that I am hoping to be is all because of God. I still find it hard to describe who I am in words but I am hoping you will get to know more of me as I continue to write.

The other thing I want to probably share with the steemit community are some of the things I intend to do and also share with the steemit community. I believe not only am I here to grow my writing skills, network and build a community where we can share and interact about the different aspects of life, but I am here to grow through sharing the things I know and learning. Human life is a struggle between ignorance and illumination so I hope to be lightened as I lighten others. Some of the areas that I hope to share about will involve a number of aspects and some of these I have learnt over time, the things I struggle with as an individual and the things that fascinate me.

Food . Yes, food and more food talks. Expect a lot of these because this is one of the areas that my heart beats for. I love to share more on this because this is my areas of expertise. From what, when and how to eat certain foods. I am passionate about sharing tips on how to improve our diets, meal prepping, cooking food and the different recipes.

Health and wellness. I will be sharing about how to maintain our bodies in good shape, weight management and how to reduce the risk of so many diseases through our diet. And so many other aspects concerning general self-care and maintenance and how this affects our bodies.

Faith. For all I am and all that I hope to be is because of God. I intend to write on how to grow as a Christian and how to build a stronger relationship with God in all aspects of our lives.
Hair and skin care. This is an area that is of much interest to me because I personally struggled with growing my hair and maintaining my skin so I hope to delve deep into this and also share my personal journey with you.

Travel, art and decor. Because a life without travelling is not a life well lived. Expect to see Africa through the lenses and the well-endowed physical features. The different art pieces and how I relate with different décor and spaces.

Books. I am a reader so expect me to share some of the book recommendations and book reviews that will help you build your life and live more intentionally.
