Hi Steemit! Where do I begin? :))

Hi Steemians!

I heard a lot of positive things about Steemit and the community here and I would love to share my story 😊

My name is Nat (and no it is not short for Natalie) and I am born and raised in Thailand. Just to not bore you guys with a long post about my 25 years on this lovely earth I will sum it up into several parts.

Canterbury (2015/2016)

Well, I studied in an international school and finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design here in Thailand. And left to continue my studies in the U.K. for a Master’s Degree in Marketing at the University of Kent in Canterbury. I spent one of the best years of life there, meeting so many people from different backgrounds, beliefs and learning from them, making new friends who became my closest friends even now that I’m back in Thailand and had the opportunity to live, learn and experience new things in an environment I was not used.

London (2016/2017)

I moved to London after finishing my studies at Kent to search for any job opportunities the city had to offer. However, I was not able to find a proper place to stay in London when I had to leave Canterbury but luckily my friend had a spare room where I could crash for a couple of nights in East London. Shortly after, I moved to north west London to an Airbnb, then finally to south east London where I stayed for 3 months. Unfortunately, since I was a fresh graduate with little working experience and needed a sponsorship for a working visa, companies could easily find a local graduate with the same set of skills without needing to pay 5K extra for a working visa therefore, I was out of luck and had to head back to Thailand.

I am currently working as a Digital Marketer in a Vietnamese StartUp based in Thailand that provides Online Education. My job requires me to generate marketing research, and create Facebook Ads and Google Ads for Online courses the company has to offer. Although, during my Bachelor Degree I did an internship in a Product Design Company where I had the opportunity to design products and produce prototypes (accessories, panels, wine cabinets, logos and packages) which I truly enjoyed.

London: The Castle Climbing Centre

I always been a fairly active individual even before high school, my most admirable idol back then was my father, who inspired me to participate in sporting activities in the early stages of my life (he threw me in the swimming pool when I was only 7 months old based on a theory that all babies could swim, thankfully he was right or else I wouldn’t be here sharing this with you today :D ). I joined my school’s basketball, badminton and softball teams and contributed in every sporting event since then.

Apart from sports, I absolutely love to travel (A very expensive addiction, I know). After London I jetted off to backpack around Norway, France, Spain, Greece, Hongkong around the south part of Thailand and Bulgaria (Will be posting more about this in my future posts 😉 ) . For this reason, I am now starting to get into video editing using clips from my travels.
