It's more of a community, everyone who posts about STEM tags steemstem, and we can find posts we're interested in that way. There's also an account @steemstem that will promote good content, a discord channel and a team that curates good content daily.
Okay, thanks for the explanation. Is it enough to tag my posts with "steemstem" that they can get promoted by the bot? Or do I need to do something additionally?
Usually a tag is enough... there are a few guidelines you can read though
