One of the things Steemit lacks is a good place for new and even old users to find information on community etiquette. The comment is just to inform those who may not know that the tag introduceyourself has a specific use in the community and that if they misuse or over use it they could get flagged.

While you may not care about your reputation others do & typically appreciate some friendly guidance before someone comes along and flags them to a negative reputation.

I could ask you the same thing - What gives you the right to use a community tag that provides a valuable place for new members to be seen & make new friends? What gives you the right to be a bad neighbor that can do what ever they want on a public sidewalk?

Then the “introduceyourself/introducemyself” tag, should be set for one use only and then removed from EXPLORE or grayed out once used as a tag by a steemit or flagged with a popup - ( cannot use “introduceyourself/introducemyself” again ) tag - When entered in the tag line, Thus not allowing the post button to be active - It's just showing how much lack of thought the programer of steemit put into setting up steemit
and just leaving self appointed bissey bodys with nothing better to do then make up their own set of rules and expect others to abide by without any real authority to do what they do - And your statement bad neighbor that can do whatever they want on a public sidewalk? that's because its public - What I am trying to do is introduce steemit users to non steemit users and hopefully the non become steemits and can contribute to the steemit community - All advertising is spam - But without it would you like to live blind and unenlightened as to what is going on in the world. As we live in a capitalist world that is why we have freedom of speech. To flag something that did not conform to one's likes is to suppress it and take away true freedom of right to think for oneself.
