⭑ Made of star dust ⭑ Hello Steemit Universe! ⭑
Hello Steemit people!
I'm new here and happy to become a part of this community! I'd like to introduce myself by sharing my passions and adventures that fill my life.
I'm in absolute love with the Universe! Everything about stars, planets and nature truly fascinates me.
I devoted quite some years to yoga practice in hope to explore my inner world. It worked in some way, but has brought up even more everlasting questions about my own nature. So I stepped aside at some point to see what's happening outside and was astounded!
I enjoy being outdoors in nature - sailing in the sea or wandering high up in the mountains is what makes me feel alive!
After living an isolated life on an island in Thailand for a few years I found myself in the Himalayas among those mighty giants under the night sky full of stars and couldn't be more grateful for what I got to experience.
As I was so overwhelmed with what I saw the desire to capture those moments and share them with others was a natural step to photography. Out of my trips I create impressions by still images and timelapses. Although I have a lot to learn, I have already gathered a lot of visual content which I would like to share here on Steemit so stay tuned! 👻
Usually I'm not up to taking selfies, but sometimes when I'm alone under the stars like on all night photos in this post I just can't help it ;)
Other two daytime photos were clicked by my husband @arthurgain
That's all for now, Steemians! And soon enough I will get back to you with my work!

Haha love how when you use introduceyourself you get all these automated replies. But hey as one of the first human responders. Welcome.
Did you take these pictures? They're great. If not make sure to credit and source all pictures not taken by you. I assume you did because you called them selfies.
They're great so I assume you do a fair amount of photography?
Thank you so much @jarvie for a warm welcome and being my first human responder here :)
Yes, these are all my pictures, the ones at night are all selfies and others were clicked by my husband so they are all my credit.
Thank you as well for the kind words about the pictures - yes, I do photography since a couple of years and will share my efforts here soon enough :)

Hello @borges.barilla and thank you for your words and for the warm welcome!
The exposure time for this kind of images is usually anywhere from around 10 to 30 seconds depending on light conditions and the lens you use - in short, for the longer focal length the exposure should be shorter for pinpoint stars, with the wider lens you can expose longer without the stars creating trails.
All the best!
