All About Myself

Hey, what's up?
I am Chris, I'm a Filipino who is born and raised in the Philippines, and at the same time an aspiring writer. As far as I can remember I was high school when I first engaged into writing more specifically into poems. I literally find writing really interesting because it basically brings me into another world or dimension. Moreover, writing has been one of my passions that I want to pursue and continue to develop in the future. Writing gives me freedom to express what I feel towards something. I write based on my feelings, emotions and life experiences. But right now I'm more focused into writing poems but I've done song compositions as well. It's kinda funny because most of my poems are basically all about love and it is too mainstream in a sense that most people who loves to write mostly of their subjects is about love itself. And I know that we all know the answer to that. In my case, I easily get inspired to write specially when I have an inspiration and in love because of the fact that the feeling is urging inside me. You can write whenever and wherever you want because when idea gets into you, you don't wanna let it slip away. When you are happy, you can write. When you are sad or upset, you can write. When you are angry, you can write. See? Everything can be a subject and is an opportunity. All we need to do is widen your imagination and start believing in yourself that you can be a writer because each and everyone of us is a born writer and we just need to discover it for ourselves.

More Facts About Me

• I'm currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Misamis University. And it's been quite a long ride for me because I shifted from Accountancy into Civil Engineering which are not related at all. But I do believe that there is a purpose in everything. I just need to trust the process for I know that I'll definitely get there as long as I strive hard and work for it. Basically, nothing worth having comes easy.
• I'm really hooked into cooking. It is one of my passion. Actually, ever since I was just a kid I already dreamed of being a chef. At the same time, Hotel and Restaurant Management was my first choice of course but sad to say it wasn't realized. Mainly in cooking the most satisfying part is when you get the satisfaction and appreciation of the people towards the food that you serve. Even though I wasn't able to pursue my dream of becoming a chef I still continue my passion in cooking. It definitely runs in my blood and will never stop doing it.
• I'm a sport minded person also. One of the sports that I love to play is basketball. It's one of the things that I really love to do. Most likely I get to play basketball every day. It's like part of my daily routine already. I really like to indulge myself in physical activities. For me, "Ball is life."
• I'm also a fan of art. I myself also is an artist but not that really good like the others. I can still remember way back before I used to represent my school in a painting contest and I was mentored by my uncle who is really good at it. I'm really looking forward on doing more of that one of these days.
• Most of the people I know says that I have a good penmanship. Actually, I wasn't really that good before but my father inspired me to develop my penmanship skill because he is really good and it made jealous. It took me quite some time in order to enhance my penmanship. And I used that in writing letters, love letters to be specific because it is always romantic as it is.

How did I know about Steemit?

Well, Steemit was introduced to me by @kayegrasya who's my friend and who's also a steemit user for quite a while. She really opened up my mind in this opportunity that is why I did not hold bars and instead I grab it directly. Hearing about her stories about Steemit and the success of other people, I really think that this is a great help for me in the future. Through her mentoring about the do's and don'ts in my blogs, I'm hoping that we'll also be successful with this and that it will lead us to doors of opportunities.

Since I am really more into writing poems, you can expect that mostly of my blogs are from the poems that I wrote. But it doesn’t really mean that I am just gonna settle there, I am looking forward on other stuffs which can be interesting other than writing. Furthermore, I am also fond into different type of arts which gives me a wider coverage and variety of blog ideas. I will definitely think outside the box in order to explore because there is so much more this life has to offer for us.
