Hello World Of Steemit, allow me to introduce myself!!! Straight from the Paradise Island Of Mauritius!

Greetings of the day my dear friends!

After getting access to my account couple of days ago, I spent most of my time looking/learning deeper into this awesome social media website!

I think everyone knows how difficult Steemit can look like when someone is just new...I am still learning and I am sure it will take me some more time until I understand more about it! In the meantime, should anyone be generous enough...please help me on anything you think will be helpful for me to know!

So, coming back to my first ever post here, let me briefly introduce myself with the steemit world!

My name is Farhaan and I live in the small island of Mauritius! I got to know about Steemit thanks to my uncle who is no other than @progressivechef and his wife @creativewoman!

I have been watching him closely and listening to a lot of advices from him about how to use this new social media website!

I work in the bistro of @progressivechef which is named : Progressive Mauritian Cuisine and is by the way one of the first restaurant/bistro in the whole world to accept crypto as method of payment!
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Steem and SBD are accepted for the time being!

What will I be bloging about!!!

As you noticed, I go with the name of @snapshots, and I will be mainly sharing great shots of food that have been prepared by me in the bistro as well as nature photography with a lot of accent of how I see life!

This is the panini served in the bistro of @progressivechef!

For the time being, I am in charge of all sandwiches that we sell here!

Speed lover!!!

Since my very young age, I have a great passion for trucks, cars and motocycles! I just love full speed...I love it so much that I nearly die in an accident one year back...I will be sharing this awful story some time later...so make sure to follow me to read about this accident!

Travel

The first country I have visited is Malaysia...I was in fact there some months back...more to come on this amazing travel soon!

I love traveling and discovering different cultures around the world!

My Passions!

On top of cooking delicious food, I am so passionate of taking photos of the nature, I am not a great photographer but I am here to learn and improve for sure!
I just hope my dear followers will enjoy my shots!

Another passion of mine is fishing...going to the sea with @progressivechef and having some nice relaxing time fishing is one of my most favorite moment to spend!

Mauritius is surrounded with amazing beaches and we do have a lot of different seafood/fish that we can get here!

So here we are my friends, a little bit on me!

Since I've got to know about Steemit from my uncle, I am 100% confident in Steem and Steemit! I am here for the long run and I will surely learn along the road!

I must say I am quite lucky that I am surrounded with some great Steemians like @progressivechef and @creativewoman, they will surely help me out to better understand Steemit!

The community in Mauritius is quite small for the time being...but we are looking forward in accelerating the growth with some more people joining soon!
